Cruising pre-Made Halyards
Our pre-made halyards are halyards that are already made up to the lengths, diameters of line indicated complete with a Selden halyard shackle spliced on. Choose the halyard you need , enter quantity and select the color you desire to order. Shipped within three working days of order.
- We offer two cruising halyards in the cruising catorgy. At present we offer the pre-made cruising halyards in "YachtMaster " and "Ocean X ".
- "YachtMaster" is an excellent quality high tenacity double braid polyester line. Its durability, great feel on the hands and affordability have made it the #1 choice for cruising sailors.
- "OceanX" is one step up from YachtMaster. is manufactured by the renowned RopeWorx. They have developed this line for the ocean going offshore sailor. It has a very durable, UV resistant HT polyester (Dacron) cover. Its core is a blended with HMPE (Dyneema) which has resulting in a line with considerably less stretch that the typical double braid poyester usual provided on cruising boats. What is great about it is that it is only about 50% more expensive than double braid polyesters ropes but a fraction of the price of lines with a full a Dyneema core. Ideal for halyards, sheets and control lines.
