After a 3 month refit my 46' Morris Ocean Series was getting ready for a 2000 mile Journey from Northeast Harbor to Sarasota during November and January. I wanted my running rigging to be in top notch condition. I contacted David with his wealth of individual boat information and with-in two days had a 90% complete quote by footage and diameter. We refined this though the next week and had a completed shipped order price well below all other quotes.

When buying from the web I always wonder about the quality and people behind the site. This is especially true when buying custom equipment like the replacement halyards I bought for my 1972 Marieholm Folkboat. So before I bought the lines I placed a call to Dave to go over a few details, I soon realized that he's the real deal, a straight shooter, who delivers a quality product. I got the lines just when he said I would and the hand work and rope quality were great, the price was also significantly less than a local sailmaker I had quote the job. I'd have no reservations about recommending him to friends.

Thanks, its been great In fact Jen and I we're just speaking about some additional improvements to our rig, and it seemed to be a clear cut choice to go back to you for adding two additional halyards and new sheets. The halyards sent us over the summer, they have worked out great and were very easy to install, replacing our old rope to wire halyards. We will definitely be using your services again. I have attached a picture of S/V Metta out for a sail on the Puget Sound.

The photo has been used by UK Sails for a couple of years in their advertising after my boat won the 2009 Newport to Ensenada race. My boat won in 2009 and TaxiDancer won in 2010.

My experience working with the Bosun Yacht Services was wonderful. The purchase of new halyards for my Fountaine Pajot was great. In the spring of 09 I decided at the last minute before launch to replace all the "wire to rope" halyards on my Catalina 30 and still make the first club race.
