"Super Braid" is manufactured by the world renown Southern Ropes. Super braid has very high break loads, low stretch, is durable and light in weight. The 100% UHMwPE braided urethane UV coated core is heat set. It is covered by a special spun polyester braided cover to bond the cover with the core during high load applications, using clutch type jammers. The cover is a fine multi-carrier braid using high tenacity polyester and solution dyed polyester with a similar tenacity. Used for halyards, guys, racing control lines and sheets, low stretch high load applications.
