Double braid polyester lines are the mainstay of cruising sailboat halyards, sheets and control lines and have stood the test of time. Riggers braid manufactured by Southern Ropes has a 24-carrier construction outer cover making it easy and the hands and is a great all round line ideal for spliced halyards and genoa sheets. 8 mm Riggers Braid has a break load 3747 lbs. If required the halyard shackle selected will be spliced on with a messenger eye on the bitter end.
