With the high performance Spinnaker halyard for a J111, we pull out all the stops. Halyard in SuperBraid which has a UHMwPE (Dyneema) core and a HT polyester cover. Halyard tapered and a chafe sleeve at the top.  Complete with a eye splice to attach to owner old shackle if it is reusable.  If not add a shackle.   Messenger eye on the bitter end.
